October
31, 2006: Tapirs Featured in New Jeffrey Masson Book
Jeffrey Masson, author of over 20 books including
Why Elephants Weep, dedicates a whole chapter to tapirs in
his new book Altruistic Armadillos, Zenlike Zebras: A Menagerie
of 100 Favorite Animals. Masson consulted closely with TSG to
write his chapter and used one of our photo
collection photos. The book is available for ordering both in
the USA
and Europe
at Amazon.com.
A special thank you to TSG's Jeff Flocken of U.S. Fish & Wildlife
for initiating the conversation with Jeffrey Masson and encouraging
him to include tapirs in his book.
